9 October 2024: Countering Financial Crime Conference

The Isle Of Man Countering Financial Crime conference took place on the 9th of October 2024 and emphasised the importance of ongoing collaboration and coordination in countering financial crime on the Isle of Man and overseas. The conference, hosted by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (FSA), highlighted collaboration with talks from a varied line-up of experts, practitioners and policymakers who spoke with great passion about sharing knowledge to disrupt money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing, human trafficking and online exploitation.

The conference was organised by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority in conjunction with Island agencies including the Government’s AML/CFT Policy Office, Financial Crime Partnership, Gambling Supervision Commission, Financial Intelligence Unit, Constabulary, Customs and Immigration, HM Attorney General’s Chambers, and Department for Enterprise.
