The Treasury is seeking applications from appropriately experienced individuals for appointment to the Gambling Supervision Commission.
In addition to the oversight and regulation of most forms of gambling on the Isle of Man, the Gambling Supervision Commission is also tasked with preventing the misuse of cannabinol, cannabinol derivatives, cannabis and cannabis resin.
The Treasury will be looking to appoint two members who have senior management experience at director level or similar decision making level, ideally in a regulatory role, preferably within gambling or a related industry gained either in the private or public sector, to assist the Commission in the exercise of its statutory functions.
As a result of this recruitment exercise, Treasury will appoint one of the successful applicants as Chair of the Gambling Supervision Commission.
