10 January 2025: AML/CFT Annual Statistical Return Now Issued

The Gambling Supervision Commission has issued the 2025 AML/CFT Annual Statistical Return via STRIX. Those with access to STRIX will have been sent a link to the survey via email. 
 
The statistical return covers the period of January 2024 - December 2024 and should be submitted by the 14th of April 2025.
 
Please be made aware that since the previous return, the GSC has made some enhancements to the survey’s structure and content. As such, the GSC recommends that Operators familiarise themselves with the updated AML/CFT Statistical Return Guidance document on our website.

 

Updates Include:

  • Additional questions regarding how annual training was conducted, and details on and the quantity of specialist trainings undertaken;
  • Updated request to report the total number of PEPs from the total number of customers / ongoing customer relationships;
  • Additional question regarding the number of customers who have completed EDD;
  • Additional section to indicate acquirement of ‘Blocks of Business’ or whether plans are in place to acquire in the next reporting period; and
  • Additional section for licence holders with ‘Network Services’ licence condition to understand activity in this area.

 

The data from this return enhances the GSC’s existing databases and informs GSC supervision.

For those accessing the portal for the first time or with new credentials, please note that the GSC has registered you for the STRIX portal, however, you will be required to ‘activate it’ before being granted access. This will require you to set a password and will use Multi-Factor authentication for each login; this login is specific to you, and should not be shared with others.  Please email gscamlinspections@gov.im if you have any problems logging on or have any queries regarding the completion of this return.
